A Word From The Pastor for February

Church Family,

The New Year is in full swing and we are all busy as usual. I want to thank each of you who had a part in our church reaching our Lottie Moon goal. All of these proceeds will go to foreign mission support. Thanks for you’re giving; God will use it for outreach to our world.

We are gearing up for the 30 hour famine to be in March. The committee members, youth and many of you will be taking part in this. The goal is $5001.00. That is a tremendous effort that is reachable.

Our playground will probably be gone when you get this letter. Our building plans are moving forward as we get equipment in for grade work. We are working on getting some plans from a playground designer who will bring us some recommendations for equipment. It will be so exciting for our kids as we expand the area for them as well as make a separate area for smaller children to play. The playground will be both larger but also safer with new equipment. We will be starting a building fund program in next month, you will hear more about this later.

Remember to keep each other in your prayers as we go into the new year, many of our family are having difficulty with our economy and work issues. We need each other more now than ever. Pray for each other, support each other, and come together in worship to strengthen each other.

Love Pastor Rick
