A Word From The Pastor For February

Beulah Family,

Well we made it through the New Year into 2010. It is really hard to believe another year has begun. We had a lot of activity going on and are looking toward spring now with excitement for ministries to begin. The Worship Tour will be going into the community again this year. They have begun practice and have a wonderful program put together. There has been a tremendous amount of interest and many commitments to this outreach effort. Please keep them in your prayers as it takes a lot of dedication and Godly guidance to do this work.  If you know of a church that might be interested in hosting this group for a Sunday evening service please let Stephen Scott know.

We are into the beginning stages of the 30 day famine effort and many of you will be involved in this hunger relief effort. We raised about $4,000 dollars last year that was matched to make it $20,000 that our church sent toward hunger. There has been a match made this year as well but instead of a 5 to 1 match it will be 10 to 1. Every dollar we collect will be matched with 10 dollars. Be in prayer for how you can help with this project. Remember you also might see some boxes with kids sleeping in them outside that Sunday.

I am finishing up on the series from the Beatitudes soon and encourage you to continue study in this message from Jesus Himself. Remember each one builds upon the other to give us guidance and strength in our walk with Him.
