A Word From The Pastor For May

Beulah Family,

So much is going on as we prepare for the summer. The month of May will have special services each week so please read the newsletter or check the website carefully for details. As you read this each of you has received a letter about our growth process and the building fund. Our deacons and I wish to get started with our next building portion. We have almost completed the playground and the land purchase is complete. Now we have to replenish our building fund and begin preparing for the next step. Our deacons and I decided to do this in 2 steps. The first one begins in May with a goal of 35,000 to replenish our building fund. Then they have asked the Long Range Planning Committee to begin looking at the next step in our growth. This will start this summer. It is so exciting to see our leadership concerned enough about God’s work to seek God’s will and begin the process of growth early. That is what faith is, moving ahead with God before we know God’s exact plan. Just moving with Him as He leads. Trusting in Him for the outcome.

Our Deacons are very proactive in the outreach and growth of our church. They continue to show a love for people and a concern for their needs. That is what God’s Great Commission is about. Seeing the world through God’s eyes. Our leaders don’t just meet and discuss problems, or money. They get together and pray and share concerns, needs and look for what God wants. That is a pastor’s greatest joy to see leadership concerned more with people than with administration. Pray for them as they serve God.

You each will get more info on our Faith Pledge program on Sunday May 3rd. You need to attend one of our services. Then another packet of information will follow the next week. On May 17th we will have a special service of commitment for the Faith Pledge effort. Begin now to pray and ask God what He wants for you to do. Listen to His voice not the voice of logic. Remember this is in Faith, not understanding. God bless each of you and we will have an awesome summer for God.
