A Word From The Pastor For August

Beulah Family,

The kids can’t sing the old song “Schools Out For Summer” much longer. They start back in just a couple of weeks. It is so hard to believe that the summer is almost over. We have had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to the cool weather of the fall coming. Our VBS was just incredible. This was the largest crowd we have ever had for VBS and it went great. We had one to get saved with several more who are close to finding a savior but need a little more time to learn. A big thanks to Andrea and Darlene for their hard work. This was the first time either of them had directed VBS and it was great. The room decorations were some of the best we have ever seen. Thanks all teachers, helpers, and kitchen staff. These 2 ladies are our picks for next year also.

We have changed our Homecoming to September 12th this year because the worship tour has a church scheduled for that day and we don’t want Homecoming to interfere in the mission work. You will hear more about Homecoming in next few weeks as we are planning a very special treat for you that day. We will have our usual covered dish dinner also that day. There programs are going well and they have several more scheduled for August. Keep them in your prayers.

The Nominating Committee is at work and I ask each of you to please pray and allow God to place you in His chosen position again this year. We have a lot of work to do for God and we can’t slow down a bit. Start your prayers now and pray for the committee as they seek God’s lead.
